May 6th - Fred T Foard High School Carpentry Class and their instructor Spencer Cline will take a road trip to Klingspor's Woodworking Shop Classroom to "Learn to Turn Pens." We are very excited to host these young people in our store as they make a pen to take back to their school and show off their work.

Ralph and Dorothy Green of the NC Woodturners Association - https://ncwoodturners.com/ - will be teaching this class using Rikon lathes and the Carbide turning sets also from Rikon.

We are doing this as a thank you because this class built the rolling carts for the lathes in our classroom—a school project—and they did a great job. Thank you Mr. Cline and Fred T Foard Carpentry Class!

Mohawk Finishing Touch-Up Class!

Mohawk Finishing holds touch-up classes at our Hickory location, attracting attendees from all over the East Coast. 12 this week - furthest traveled winner was Dallas Tx!
Our store employees take this class as well and many of them are very well versed in all things Mohawk! So if you have questions, we are a great resource to help answer those questions!
