Cipriani Residences Miami continues to rise as one of South Florida’s most iconic luxury high-rise developments, and PTE provided the Full Post-Tension Value Engineering Design helping bring this landmark tower to life.

Over 85 stories and approaching 950 feet upon completion, Cipriani Residences is set to become the tallest tower in Florida and the tallest residential tower south of New York.

Projects at this scale demand far more than standard solutions. They require engineering expertise capable of balancing structural performance, construction efficiency, and long-term design integrity at the highest level.

One wrong core drill into a post-tension slab can cause serious damage, costly delays, and major safety risks. ⚠️

That’s why GPR scanning is critical before any cutting, coring, or drilling begins.

In this case, post-tension cables were identified approximately 4 inches below the slab surface in a banded configuration, helping verify safe work areas before coring activities could take place.

In active high-rise construction, proper scanning and coordination help:

✔️ prevent accidental cable strikes

✔️ improve jobsite safety

✔️ reduce costly repairs and delays

✔️ protect the integrity of the structure
