Here's what nobody tells you about brand partnerships in hydraulics: most shops just pick whatever distributor gives them the best discount. We don't work that way. We carry manufacturers that have proven themselves in the field, on ag equipment, in industrial facilities and on shop floors where a failure means a whole day lost. If a brand can't survive a season of Idaho dust and heat, it doesn't matter how good the price is. That's why we stock the names we do, and why we don't stock the ones that cut corners.

A wet kit that's undersized by just 5 GPM can add 15+ minutes of cycle time per load, that's 3 fewer loads a day for a dump truck running hot.

Here's what actually matters when you're designing a wet kit:

1. Flow rate (GPM), determines how fast your trailer cycles. Too slow and you're burning time and fuel on every single dump.

2. Reservoir size, too small and the oil aerates, cavitates the pump, and kills components fast. That's downtime you didn't budget for.

3. PTO-to-transmission match-up, wrong spline count or pump displacement and nothing works. Happens more than it should.

Got a cylinder that's drifting down under load?

First instinct for a lot of guys is to crank the relief valve up a few hundred PSI. But that's just masking the real problem, and it puts a blowout risk somewhere else in the system.

Nine times out of ten, the fix is internal, worn piston seals, a scored bore, or bypassing fluid you can't see from the outside.

That custom assembly you're pricing out? If nobody asked about your duty cycle before quoting you, you're not getting a custom unit, you're getting a stock unit with a different paint job.

And that difference shows up first as a hot motor on a Tuesday, then a dead pump by Friday.
