General labor position, weekdays only, no travel, all shop work at our location in Hermon Maine.

While fabrication experience is always a plus, no experience is required, will train and provide any necessary tools.

Sorry to those that have inquired recently - this is not a strictly welding position, it will be mainly general labor work including assembly and prep work to start. With our new facility being constructed this year however, that is subject to change.

Competitive pay, great work environment. Candidates need to be punctual, possess a good work ethic and have good attention to detail.

We are hiring! (Repost due to heightened summer workload)

S&S Fabrication LLC & Luke's Automotive is looking to fill a couple of part time spots for some upcoming work, could lead to a full time position. Duties would include general labor and assembly work. Automotive, welding, fitting and oxyfuel experience is always a plus, but no experience required. Looking for punctual people that have good attention to detail and take pride in their work. Students that are off for the summer looking for work and self employed folks looking to fill some downtime especially encouraged to come see me. Be willing to learn and willing to take pride in precision work, the company was built on precision work and we plan to keep that reputation.

All hours worked in shop only (we are conveniently located less than 5 minutes off I-95 righy off Hammond street in Hermon), no travel required. Our normal in-shop hours are Monday-Friday 7-3:30 with optional overtime.

New equipment in!

Starting in a couple of months we will be offering a wide range of automotive and other tube work including roll bars, cages, up to 3” diameter custom exhaust systems, rock sliders, bumpers, and more.

Also coming later this winter once we are equipped - rust repair, body work and paint. This will include rocker panel/cab corner repair, certain frame repairs, wheel well repair and more.

Finally almost done with the restoration of this 1992 Dodge W250. The truck started it’s life just north of Lodi California and made its way to Maine a couple years back with all its original dealer paperwork in tact and not a single sign of rust on it. She was highly optioned from the get go including the Cummins turbo diesel, extended cab with rear jump seats, power windows, locks, and mirrors, cruise control, air conditioning, bucket seats, and the optional 5 speed manual transmission. It was specially equipped by the dealership with a hideaway gooseneck hitch setup as well as a high flow exhaust system right off the lot. These things are getting more and more rare, not quite done with it but very proud of this one so far. Building this truck to tow with and she’s coming out great. Pictures don’t quite do it justice on this rainy day but it’s been completely repainted with its original color, forest green pearl. Countless hours into this thing, definitely a keeper.

TIG welding/oxy-fuel brazing experience a plus but not required, this Is not a full time welding job so If thats what you are looking for this Isn’t it. Duties include general assembly work, painting, and other random tasks. Easy work. Be able to stay on task, off cell phone, and work overtime when required. Paid holidays, health insurance available.
