Precise Machine Works, LLC is the latest (2004) evolution of Jeff Huncovsky's machine shop business. It has evolved through several different names since 1992. He graduated from Linn State Technical College in 1990, armed with degrees in Machine Tool and Design Drafting. He put his knowledge of machining tools and wel

ding to work, responding to local demand for finely machined metal parts. It takes an active imagination and excellent drawing skills to create high quality tools. Converting the drawings to the finished product is a real art form. Jeff has come through as an innovator of parts and tools for several industries. Precise Machine Works, LLC is the perfect outlet for fabricating and marketing his own ideas and those of his customers.

With all the wasteful spending happening at FEMA and the increasing strain on utility companies during natural disasters, it’s more important than ever to find cost-effective, efficient solutions. That’s where Precise Machine Works comes in with the Groundline Repair System (GRS). Designed to restore wood utility poles suffering from ground rot, storm damage, or vehicular impact, the newly improved GRS can return poles to their original strength—or better. Originally created for utility companies, it’s also ideal for homeowners, farms, and businesses looking to extend the life of their wooden poles. Rather than replacing a damaged pole entirely, the GRS allows you to reinforce it in 30 minutes or less, with no special tools required—saving both time and money.

With all the wasteful spending happening at FEMA and the increasing strain on utility companies during natural disasters, it’s more important than ever to find cost-effective, efficient solutions. That’s where Precise Machine Works comes in with the Quik-Splint—a high-value utility pole reinforcement system designed specifically for utility companies and businesses. This temporary repair solution can be rapidly deployed in the event of man-made or natural disasters and is engineered to withstand winds over 80 mph. Once in place, the Quik-Splint reduces the need for extensive equipment and personnel during a pole change-out, helping companies save time, money, and avoid prolonged outages. It quickly pays for itself, especially when compared to the potential revenue lost from extended service disruptions.
