Update on the C900 Remote Locking Kits. Based on some feedback, adding a second style of fob and the optional turn signal wiring can now be deleted.

Original - This is the kit as Bruce/BWORX installed in his youtube video. Audi-style flipkey with brass key blank loaded. USD160 with turn signal wiring, USD150 without.

Old School - This features a standard 2-button remote, 90's vibe. Otherwise its the same kit as the original. USD145 with turn signal wiring, USD135 without.

2nd batch is in progress with several on the waitlist.

85-89 Fuel Pump Assy update. Installed prototype back in September, out and back in a few times for checks. In January the feedpump failed - plastic impeller blade apparently broke off and wedged itself into the inlet, which then broke several other blades as the motor powered thru, sigh. Most larger turbine pumps are a slight variation in that the impeller blades are supported by an outer ring, hence the "turbine" description.

So, what to do? I bought every feedpump of this style I could find, lined em up for comparison, literally identical - could have all been made at the same factory. It was my predetermined belief that Delphi FE0069 was best in class for this low-pressure feed pump, nothing I saw would suggestion otherwise, so gonna assume they're all equally crappy. I refuse to sell something that can't be relied upon...

After consulting with Kyle, I have decided to push forward with the newer-style pump basket assembly used by Saab since 1990 with the ejector/venturi feed system. No moving parts to feed the main reservoir, and we do have some very reliable main pumps to choose from. Trade-off here is plastic - have I mentioned how much we dislike plastic - as replicating this in stainless just isn't going to be cost effective.

2nd prototype is now in Jon's 85 900T. J&K custom lid/clamp/seal setup on top, plastic 90's style basket below, and US-union-made TI 39mm GSS gear pump inside.

Another complete C900 power steering system kit shipped out today to a customer in the great State of Penn. While I'd intended for these to support you busy DIY types, I believe all of them have been purchased for install by a local shop. Not complaining, just slightly bemused with my market assessment!

If you're curious, these kits (Premium and Budget versions) are listed on our eBay store. Changing out a problematic PS system is certainly a DIYable task, easiest if you've got the engine out for other reasons of course. If you're more than curious, reach out via email to discuss a much lower price.

After much tinkering and refinement, latest prototype of our fuel pump assembly is officially installed and in validation testing. This is intended to be a plug and play replacement for injected C900s up to 1989 with the rubber bellows type pump mount. Prototype is of aluminum construction, using Delphi feed and main pumps and a flat viton seal. Final product will be in stainless steel, likely with Delphi or Walbro/TI pump options. First of the "Budget" C900 Power Steering system kits sold on eBay and shipped out to Illinois this weekend. Kit includes rebuilt rack and pump, reservoir, along with our custom AN hose kit. Prepping for the next batch of senders with our manufacturing partner as we're nearly out of stock. We've been awaiting some clarity on tariffs, but that's clearly a fool's errand at this point so we'll just move ahead and hope for the best.
I've got two of the Later '89-93 senders left, and five for the 81-82 cars (these aren't on ebay, a few pics here, reach out if you're interested). Sold out of the early 83-88 senders, sorry. Hoping to have next batch ready to ship before the end of August.

C900 Power steering is one of the things we focus on. Two later "Type2" racks going for rebuild and will be featured in complete power steering refurb kits we'll be offering.
Basic Kit - Rack (and pump) on the left is currently at Ameca Rebuild here in Vegas. These guys did Kyle's rack and pump for Red, and I'm pretty sure that they also did my last rack as a subcontractor for NAPA auto. Jose and Pedro do good work, basic cleanup, reseal and paint.
Premium Kit- Rack in the box on the right is returning home to Saginaw Michigan for rebuild by Turn One and will undergo their rather rigorous process. This includes full component inspection, polishing all seal surfaces, and dyno testing of pressures.
More info to come. If you're planning a restoration or an engine out event on your C900, its a great time to get the power steering system redone. Keep us in mind.
