A Clear Advantage.
At Bison Engineering, we provide comprehensive Ambient Air Monitoring Services to help clients evaluate air quality conditions, support regulatory compliance, and make informed environmental decisions.
Our ambient air monitoring solutions include:
✅ Meteorological Stations
We have been building and operating ambient air and meteorological monitoring networks since our beginnings in 1980. Collecting site-specific weather data including wind speed, wind direction, temperature, humidity, precipitation, solar radiation, and atmospheric conditions to support air quality assessments and dispersion modeling.
✅ Gaseous Monitoring
Continuous and periodic monitoring of pollutants such as SO₂, NO/NOx/NO₂, CO, O₃, H₂S, VOCs, ozone, and other regulated compounds.
✅ Particulate Monitoring
Measurement of PM10, PM2.5, TSP, metals, dust fall, and other particulate matter to evaluate ambient air quality and project impacts.
✅ Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)
Monitoring and assessment of indoor environments to evaluate potential air quality concerns. OSHA and MSHA have specific regulations about air contaminants in the workplace. Bison can design, construct and operate a monitoring program for your specific needs.
✅ CEMS/COMS Services
Support for Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and Continuous Opacity Monitoring Systems (COMS), including installation support, audits, calibrations, data validation, maintenance, and regulatory reporting. Bison can also assist with quarterly cylinder gas audits (CGAs).
Whether supporting a new project, compliance program, operational monitoring effort, or community air quality initiative, Bison Engineering delivers dependable monitoring solutions backed by technical expertise and responsive client service.
