Mission S. Mid-engine, unveiled Thursday in Queens, on the same spot Porsche launched the 550 Spyder 73 years ago.

GT1 nose. 959-style rear wing. A 917-inspired fan on display under the back window. Phone-dial 928 wheels.

The dash skips the touchscreen entirely.

Cuorerosso translates to “red heart.”

It’s Alfa Romeo’s new concept, shown in Paris, and it won’t be built as you see it here.

Its job is to set the look for the Alfas that follow. The doors hinge at the back with no handles anywhere, and the cockpit takes its cues from the ‘67 33 Stradale.
