Yesterday, we spent part of the day at Hawley High School talking with students about careers in the skilled trades.
It was inspiring to meet so many students who are already passionate about becoming welders, framers, heavy equipment operators, and diesel mechanics. The level of curiosity, excitement, and eagerness to learn was incredible to see.
As a business located just a block away from Hawley High School, it was especially meaningful to connect with students in our own backyard and be part of an event that brings industry directly into the school day.
One of the most rewarding parts of the day was hearing from students who were curious about the many different paths into the construction industry. Several young women stopped by our booth to ask questions about careers in construction, leadership opportunities, and what itβs like to work in the industry. It was encouraging to see so much interest from the next generation of women entering the trades.
We are proud to partner with Hawley ISD and appreciate their efforts to create opportunities like this that help students explore meaningful career paths early on. The future of the trades is bright, and we are excited to see some of these students out in the field one day. π
