Tandemloc’s 20901AA Series Top Lift Lugs are designed to lift ISO containers from their top corner fittings with strength, simplicity, and added security. Standard models offer a 25,000 lb working load limit, install with a simple insert-and-rotate motion, and feature a gravity lock plate that helps prevent the lug from twisting during the lift.

Choosing the right 20901AA Series lift lug depends on the application. The 20901AA-1PA with master link is intended for true vertical lifting, while the 20901AA-4PA with flex link is designed for angled lifting of empty or specially configured containers and shelters.

Every 20901AA Series Top Lift Lug is proof tested to 200% of its working load limit and ships with both a proof test certificate and certificate of conformance. A complete container lift requires a set of four, giving customers documented confidence before the equipment ever reaches the jobsite.

Its three-position handle makes installation and operation straightforward - allowing the twist lock to be inserted, secured to the lower container, and then fully locked once the upper container is in place. Built with all-steel construction, a hot-dip galvanized finish, and stainless-steel internal mechanisms, it’s designed for strength and corrosion resistance in demanding environments. With a 50-ton tension break load, 40-ton shear break load, and a weight of just 11.7 pounds, it delivers serious performance in a compact, field-ready design.

A built-in safety lock helps prevent accidental dislodgement when the Tandemloc Rotary Lift Lug is not under load, adding another layer of security during handling and setup.

One lug, multiple rigging configurations. The 416000C-LSTZW Series Rotary Lift Lug features a rotating body that accommodates a wide range of sling angles, requires no left- or right-hand version, and allows the sling to connect directly to the lug with no shackles required.

Insert the toe into the side aperture of a standard ISO 1161 corner fitting, rotate it 90°, and the lug is ready to work. A built-in safety lock helps prevent accidental dislodgement when unloaded, and for 40-foot containers, ISO standards require sling angles of 30° or greater to the horizontal using a set of four lugs.
