We are pleased to announce that Joshua Hudson has joined our sales team as a Regional Business Manager. Based in Shelby, NC, Josh will support Royal’s distribution network and end-user customer base throughout VA, NC, SC, and GA.

Josh brings over a decade of experience in the manufacturing industry, having launched his career in 2010 as an Engineering Technician. Over the years he advanced through several key positions, including Manufacturing Engineer/Manager, Southeast Regional Sales Manager for a CNC Peripheral Supplier, and most recently, Regional Manager for a CNC Machine Tool OEM. This progression reflects a deep understanding of both the technical and customer-facing aspects of the business.

We are pleased to introduce Sebastian Tharlet as a key member of our Europe Business Development Team. Based near Stuttgart, Germany, Sebastian supports Royal’s OEM partners, distribution network, and end users throughout Europe with a primary focus on Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and Austria.

Sebastian has worked in the machine tool industry for over 20 years. He holds a German Master Craftsman qualification in mechanical engineering and has extensive knowledge of CNC machining, workholding technology, technical sales, and business management.

Prior to joining Royal, Sebastian served as General Manager for a custom workholding manufacturer with responsibility for personnel, operations, and business development. This combination of technical expertise and commercial leadership enables him to understand both the manufacturing challenges faced by customers and the logistical requirements of successful production operations.

One of Sebastian’s most significant achievements is the invention of the revolutionary Royal MTC™ Multi-Tasking Chuck. This versatile workholding system was developed to reduce setup and changeover times while increasing flexibility, productivity, and machine utilization by enabling machinists to swap between 3-Jaw, Quick-Grip™ Collet, ID and 5C workholding without removing the chuck from the spindle. This job shop dramatically increased their CNC throughput with Royal SLV™ Multi-Vise Pyramids. Here’s how…

The Challenge:

A precision manufacturer in the Southeast needed to ramp up their production of stainless steel components for a high-security rail car latch system, but it wasn’t possible with their existing workholding setup. They needed smaller vises, more clearance, and more holding power.

The Solution:

Royal Regional Manager Jeremy Wright recommended the new high-density SLV™ Multi-Vise Pyramid system for the customer’s DN Solutions DVF 5000’s pallet loader. The pyramid layout moved the parts off a flat, single-plane fixture and positioned them at angles that improved tool access, increased clearance, and made better use of the 5-axis machine's capabilities.

The significant holding force of the SLV™ vises enabled another major process improvement – eliminating the dovetail prep operation. The customer no longer had to cut dovetails into the raw stock before the main operation. Operators could now load the raw material directly into the vises, locate it on the grid, and start the cycle.

The Results:

The customer is now producing 400+ parts per shift and running unattended after hours. By combining the clearance and holding power of the Royal SLV™ vises with the density of the multi-vise pyramid layout, the shop is now equipped with an exponentially more effective process.

Over the years, he has developed deep expertise in workholding systems, CNC machining productivity, and multi‑country business management — experience that has positioned him as a trusted partner to OEMs, distributors, and end users across Europe.

In his new role at Royal Products, Gary Morgan will be a key member of the Royal team responsible for managing European sales, supporting OEM and distributor relationships, and driving customer success initiatives across the region.

We are pleased to announce that Enrique Samudio has joined our sales team as a Regional Business Manager. Based in Independence, KY, Enrique will support Royal’s distribution network and end-user customer base throughout Southern Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia.

Enrique brings nearly 10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with a background spanning quality, engineering, operations, and general management. He began his career in manufacturing engineering and quality before expanding into leadership roles. Along the way, he co-owned and helped build a CNC machining company, growing it from a single waterjet into a multi-machine operation serving customers across several industries.

Most recently, Enrique held manufacturing leadership roles, overseeing operations, engineering, quality, and customer relationships, giving him a well-rounded perspective on both the technical and business sides of manufacturing. His hands-on manufacturing experience and passion for helping customers solve complex manufacturing challenges make him a valuable addition to the Royal Products sales team.

In his new role at Royal Products, Enrique will be responsible for managing regional sales, providing technical support, and helping distributors, OEM partners, and end users identify solutions that maximize CNC machining performance.

Royal Products is pleased to announce that Marcos Sepulveda has joined our sales team as Mexico Business Manager. Based in Queretaro, Mexico, Marcos will support Royal’s OEM partners, distribution network, and end-user customers throughout Mexico and Latin America.

Marcos brings more than 40 years of experience in the machine tool industry, with deep expertise in workholding systems, CNC productivity solutions, and over 20 years of experience in industrial automation.

He began his career spending 15 years with VARE – the first Royal Products distributor in Mexico and one of the pioneering companies introducing manual chucks and power chucks for CNC machines into the Mexican market.

Prior to joining Royal Products, he recently served as Managing Director for a leading German manufacturer of workholding systems and automation components.

Throughout his career he has played a key role in supporting the growth and modernization of the manufacturing industry across Mexico and South America. His extensive experience has helped manufacturers optimize CNC machining performance, reduce setup and changeover times, improve productivity, shorten lead times and increase operational profitability through advanced manufacturing solutions and process efficiency.
