Pat Lama was a Vice President, Owner, and an accomplished engineer at Mason Industries for over 50 years. We came across these photos in our archive, and Pat is displaying our first Mason Flex Product and comparing them to Vibraflex rubber piping. The vibration reduction and acoustic performance of our twin sphere connectors is overwhelming and specified by consultants globally. In its current version Safe Flex, manufactured with EPDM, and Kevlar reinforcing, sets the bar at the highest level. Pat helped to grow the company and deserves equal credit for our success. Nothing better than coming across some old photos, hope you enjoy them.

Waltz Engineering has been a wonderful agent for more than 20 years. They’ve consistently led all representatives in sales of RSC and CMAB’s.

George Wythe High School is one of their current projects and has a number of well-designed RSC’s that accommodate dog houses, acoustical packages, and HVAC units being rigged in sections. The project was engineered by Stan Constant, and he gets it right every time.

The photographs are during construction and give you an idea of the complexity of the design and the time it takes to manufacture. Another job well done by all.

Our 2nd annual summer barbeque was a success! We were lucky with a beautiful day hosting the party on our front lawn. Employees and visiting representatives enjoyed lunch, games, and a surprise visit from Mr. Softee. Special thanks to our event planners for making the day so great.

Bases and rails have been some of our most prominent shipments so far in 2025, with our fantastic welding team working on projects of various shapes, sizes, and specifications. This KSL base was designed and manufactured for our clients at Delta T Equipment for a confidential project in the Midwest where mechanical vibrations passing through sensitive equipment was the concern. The unit features galvanized snubbers with extended base plates, SLF-162’s with 4” deflection, and roll-out rebar reinforcing mats. The total equipment mounted on this base will weigh approximately 24,000 lbs. The order has been carefully packaged for shipment and will begin its journey to another satisfied customer.

Our team recently completed this special-order RSC curb for the De La Salle School! The unit is 48” tall and features 2” deflection springs and acoustical package to support a 6,000 lb. carrier AC unit for the gymnasium. The installation of the unit is right here on Long Island and will be used to educate staff on rigging & installation.

This highly specialized order is a great example to demonstrate the scope of our work. Our engineering and manufacturing team worked together to create a variety of roof curbs being installed on multiple buildings. This order included RSC curbs with a specific height and internal cross bracing added in to support the largest unit. The medium and small RSC curbs for smaller units are rigid rails with access ports. This order is destined for Lawton Indian Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Our phenomenal team is all smiles after completing the assembly of this large order of 4” deflection SLR-160 mounts! The products of their hard work will be installed to support a cooling tower at John F Kennedy International Airport in terminal 1.
