Kassel Finishing is owned and operated by Eric Decker out of Hastings, MN. Eric has over 13 years in the metal finishing industry, from sandblasting to vibratory deburring. He has worked on all different types of metals from manganese to brass. The shop is small and very limited on supplies and space. There is very little room for large pieces, and if the pieces are large they still need to be lig
ht enough to hold up to a buffing wheel. I would recommend taking photos of your pieces prior to dropping them off. We will do the same upon receiving them, but it will help with any issue later on. Since there is limited room in the shop, we can't hold on to your work until we are able to process it. This means that someone will call you letting you know when you can drop off your piece(s). It is a first come, first serve shop. That being said, we don't give finish dates. We will give you a estimated window of days the work take to be completed. We are going for client satisfaction, not volume of work. We only finish metal, we don't plate or seal anything. We can give you a couple of contacts to do so if requested. If for some reason we don't have the proper equipment, or time, to work on your job we have plenty of resources that are able to process any job you may have, and we are happy to pass on your name if you would like us to do so. Our buffing wheels don't stop for much, and the aftermath is ugly. If anything does happen to your work we will notify you immediately, and rework or replace the work if need be.
