Stylish Bugsy, “Bugsy,” is the 2026 AQHA/PRCA Tie-Down Horse of the Year, his second title after 2023 and the third Horse of the Year trophy of Shane’s career. Two years removed from a suspensory injury, the 14-year-old gelding carried Shane everywhere from Fort Worth to San Antonio, to Tucson, to Houston, and most placed in between. The gelding also carried Kincade Henry, Beau Cooper, Shad Mayfield, Hunter Herrin and Trevor Hale to checks along the way.
He doesn’t want to be petted, and good luck catching him in a stall. He’d rather just do his job. Rattler Rope has the full story on the all business gelding's HOTY win here ➡️ https://bit.ly/4yi1uJ5
