This is a job we just finished. We were working with Alpine Custom Stairs, who did the installation and woodwork. We built the double channel stringers; unbelievably heavy along with the second floor face plates and railing posts. The job is located in central Wisconsin, (Lake Petenwell).

We're usually gone well before the home is finished, so it was nice to visit this project a month after the family moved in. This is a metal wall, fireplace surround, and shelf we installed several months ago.

This firescreen is one of my favorites. It is forged bronze and the entire frame is curved, which made fitting the vases tricky. Challenging and rewarding. It's always anticlimactic to spend all this time creating a piece like this and then just set it in place, no hammering or drilling. Just set it down.

This is a fireplace screen I built several years ago, made of forged bronze. I was inspired by a Jim Horrobin firescreen which can be seen on his website "Doverhay Forge" which is stunning.

These are photos of a set of Steel and Glass Cabinets with shelves. The top shelf is over 12' long. The cabinets are approx 24" wide x 60" tall and have 3/8" thick polished glass shelves. The top shelf is steel while the two "floating" shelves are steel framed with glass tops. Natural darkening patina with clear lacquer top coat. Thanks to Morgante Wilson for including us in this project.

These are a set of Mono Stringers we made recently for &Woodworking. Jay's templates are a perfect way to communicate what the finished product needs to be. Because of that they fit perfectly. Glad I didn't have to install. Made of 8" × 10" x 1/4" steel tube.

These are photos of a job just completed in Hinsdale. About a years worth of work off and on. All steel with darkening patina. The large doors are 10' tall x 5-1/2' wide. The two centers are sliding.

This is a project on the Milwaukee lakefront. We had to match, or at least reference the original existing window grilles with our new railings. All of the back porch concrete is new, including the underground parking garage. Working with - it really turned out nice.

We were excited to create this decorative archway for the Elkhorn Football Field several years ago. It t involved quite a bit of CAD work before fabrication started. A Crane lifted the finished Arch in place. Everything fit as planned.

This is a small part of a large project we are doing in Hinsdale IL. The main window is 8' long x 30" tall made out of 2"sq steel with patina finish. The challenge (besides making the things) was to lift it up there. Jake and I are somewhat vertically challenged so I made a stepped structure that allowed us to lift it in short distances at a time, it worked great. Matching doors will be added below.
