INNOVATION THROUGH COLLABORATION. BUILT INTO THE SAFE-T STANDARD.

Our recently installed 12' × 50' commercial storm shelter in Birmingport, Jefferson County, Alabama, features a new option we're excited to officially introduce: spray foam insulation.

Developed through collaboration with our ReBox Solutions team, this optional upgrade brings proven insulation experience from our commercial office manufacturing operations into our Safe-T-Shelter product line.

And because we believe in transparency, we put it to the test.

During September testing at our Hartselle, Alabama facility, we observed an approximately 15°F average temperature difference under ambient conditions between insulated and non-insulated shelters.

Both shelters were stationary, with mechanical ventilation systems inactive. This was an evaluation of passive insulation performance, not a test of operating shelter temperatures or ventilation effectiveness.

Our standard commercial shelters continue to provide the engineered storm protection and ventilation systems our customers depend on. Spray foam insulation simply introduces another option for facilities looking for additional thermal performance.
