Another Jeep freshened up and protected at DSD Motorsports in Middlefield, Connecticut!

For this project, we repainted the hardtop, restored and re-dyed the faded plastic trim, and installed metal inner wheel-well liners with bold red lettering. We also removed and treated the frame rust before applying epoxy primer, paint and a durable underbody coating.

It wasn’t a complete restoration—just the right improvements in the right places to give this Jeep a cleaner appearance and better long-term protection.

Sagging 1986 Jaguar XJ6 Headliner Repaired in Connecticut

This classic 1986 Jaguar XJ6 arrived at DSD Motorsports with a sagging headliner and water damage to the substrate board underneath it.

We addressed the damaged foundation, installed the new headliner material and recovered the sunshade to give the interior a clean, coordinated and properly finished appearance. The transformation looks fantastic and fits the refined character of this vintage Jaguar.

This Ripped Toyota RAV4 Armrest Now Looks Better Than New

Most people would think this ripped Toyota RAV4 armrest needed to be replaced—but we were able to rebuild it better than it was originally made.

At DSD Motorsports & Resto Mod Garage, we removed the damaged factory vinyl, recovered the armrest using a higher-quality automotive upholstery material and added a thin layer of specialty foam. The added foam gives it a more comfortable feel while helping the new material hold up better over time.

The finished armrest doesn’t just look new—it looks and feels better than new.

At this time, we are not accepting new restoration, fabrication, paint, bodywork, or general shop projects as we work through our existing backlog and continue delivering the level of craftsmanship our customers expect.
