Congratulations to Deputy A. Lawson of the Morrill County Sheriff’s Office (NE), winner of the May 2026 Stop Stick® Hit of the Month! 🏆

When an unpredictable driver forced motorists off the road and refused to yield, Deputy Lawson stepped up to safely end a 48-minute, high-speed pursuit. A precise deployment took out two tires on the suspect’s vehicle, bringing the dangerous situation to a safe, controlled stop just two miles down the road—ensuring the driver could safely receive the medical help they needed.
