Expansion Project Progress Report:
Woohoo!! Concrete is coming!! Concrete is coming!!
So, we originally thought that we'd carve out a little area and add the new building and maybe do more dirt/rock work later on. But, then my dad, Charles David Hable and a few other folks pitched in and Ryan Reeves put in a gob of time and.....THINGS GOT CRAZY!! 😁 And now we have SO MUCH MORE SPACE!! Big thank you to all who have come through for us! We really appreciate it.
The shop is still open as construction continues and I don't think parking will be an issue. 😁😁😁

We are kicking off 2026 with a long-awaited expansion project, so please pardon our mess during construction. We'll still be open for business...we'll just have to be a bit more creative with project placement. Lol 😁

Happy Veteran's Day to all who have served and to their families from the Reeves Family at Hog Creek Machine & Fab!!

Appreciation post to our favorite veteran, Ryan G. Reeves...son, brother, husband, father, machinist/welder....American. If you see Ryan standing at attention at Hog Creek with his hand over his heart while the Valley Springs School says the Pledge of Allegiance over the loudspeakers, this is the reason:
He grew up talking about the military from a very young age. Immediately after high school in 1989, he went to Marine Corps boot camp and spent 9+ years in the Corps. Getting his jump wings pinned on in the pic below is one of his favorite achievements....(You call this WORK? lol) Uncle Sam gave him plenty of opportunities for "adventure" over the years. We moved back home to Arkansas where he spent 94 days as a civilian (lol) and then joined the Army National Guard for a few more "adventures." He began as enlisted, but was encouraged to become an officer. He ended his military career in 2005 as a 1st Lieutenant shortly after a long deployment to Iraq.
He caught me going through the albums this morning and made me promise NOT to post pics of his awards, so we absolutely can't discuss his many, many commendations (like his joint service awards, Marine good conducts, his Bronze Star, his Army Commendation Medal with Valor, etc....) Nope, not gonna embarrass him. 😉 I'm just going to say that one of the best things about Ryan is his heart. He loves hard...his family, his friends, his country. He takes care of ALL of us. We love you, Ryan Reeves!! ❤️

Please join me in wishing my favorite Marine, Ryan Reeves, a very Happy 250th Marine Corps Birthday today, November 10th, 2025. Tomorrow, on Nov 11th, we honor our veterans of all services, but today we celebrate "Uncle Sam's Misguided Children", the Jarheads, the incredibly special (and slightly crazy) men & women who became "One of the few, the proud, the Marines..."
We appreciate their sacrifices, their strength, and their determination.
Once a Marine, ALWAYS a Marine.
We love you, Ryan!!
