Abcon Automation, Inc. in Harrison, OH is accepting resumes to fill an Industrial Electrical Outside Salesperson's position to expand our growth in the Industrial Manufacturing Market. This opportunity is a customer-facing, outside sales position based upon servicing current Abcon customers and generating new customers.
We are looking to hire an organized, hardworking individual that enjoys building relationships with customers, problem solving and aiding our customers in design and development of the products or machines they produce. You will be expected to be a self-starter working on your own as well as with our team and vendors on pricing. This position services a wide range of customers with Electrical needs in the INDUSTRIAL MARKET.
Responsibilities:
• Meet with existing and potential Abcon Automation customers to discover their electrical needs
• Estimate Industrial electrical projects and prepare proposals for presentation
• Write estimates in the field, when required.
• Close deals with customers onsite or by proposal
• Complete electrical scopes of work from time-to-time
• Monitor jobs in progress and assist when needed
• Develop relationships in your assigned area with Industrial clients that may have electrical project needs
• Work with assigned Supervisor, Field Techs and Staff
• Generate Sales and Service quoting opportunities
• Develop new accounts as well as service existing accounts
• Keep in touch with current and future Abcon Automation customers
• Abide by all safety/environmental rules and regulation
• Exercise independent judgment on service projects, providing some guidance and instructions to other personnel. Consult with customers, utilizing good customer relations skills
• Work with the Management to meet company goals and revenue expectations
• Become proficient on company software and with company reports
Qualifications:
• Must be a Self-Starter working that can work on your own, as well as collaborate with our team
• Excellent Communication Skills. Strong Phone, Interpersonal, Verbal, and Written Skills
• Sales Experience with Excellent Customer Services Skills
• Basic Knowledge of Electrical Products is a MUST!
• Energetic Detail Oriented, able to Multitask
• Strong Ethics and able to work independently or collaborative team member
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Must have either a strong electrical background in controls and automation or an electrical or mechanical engineering degree (A minimum of 3-5 years of experience will be expected)
• Must have an outgoing personality and a “can do attitude”
• Must pass background and drug screen
Experience:
• 3 – 5 years in Industrial Electrical Sales required
• Experience reading designs and blueprints is a plus
• AutoCAD Electrical experience is a plus
