On the first warm weather weekend when I know we won’t get anymore overnight frosts, I rush to my local garden center to buy my hanging baskets for the season. Hello to everyone. We hope everyone is staying well and safe during this hard time. We are all doing good. Don is enjoying retirement as well as Lucky. Gay is loving her job at Goodman Glass still taking care of some of Beach Hardware customers. I am at Lowes in Newport News in the plumbing department, also still taking care of a lot of Beach Hardware customers. If you are up that way stop by and say hi.I
If I can help you in anyway come on by. We miss being in Buckroe but there were other plans for us. We miss seeing our customers and please know, we love you all and think of you often......Bill

With a very heavy heart.........Im sorry to have to tell everyone this.....but on July 8 2019 we lost my dad Roy Mitchell ( Mr. Beach) Please see his obituary below for information. He loved all his customers and asked about you daily........RIP dad..................We love you and miss you.

Roy Mitchell, age 96, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019. He was a WWII Army Air Corps veteran serving from 1943 to 1946. For over 80 years he was

Hello everybody. Thought we would give everyone a quick update. We were able to finish everything at the store and turn the keys over Jan 31 as asked to. We all took a few days to catch our breath and help our very sore muscles heal. Lucky is applying for jobs, Don is thinking about retiring and looking for part time work, although a full time job still might be in his picture. Gay has finished her resume and is now looking for her place. As for me (Bill) i have also finished my resume and have applied for several jobs, had an interview or 2 and have some more to contact. Still have the final paper work to do for the store...........thought that would be fast......NOT! Takes so much time for everything to come in. We love everyone and miss you terribly, but things happen for a reason. We will update again hopefully with some great news on jobs. If you have any suggestions or insights, we are listening.Once again we miss you all and will be in touch soon.........BILL
