Thank you to Twin Hickory Elementary School for having us during their career day recently. Joey Dunleavey, P.E., Mechanical Engineer and Nichole Parker, Electrical Engineer, enjoyed talking with the 2nd graders about being an engineer and some of the tools that we use. It's that time again! Another successful Thompson Consulting Engineers Chili Cook-off is in the books. This year our staff brought 9 delicious chilis to the competition, nearly doubling our selection from last year. It was a close race, but Jason Miner took home his fourth 1st place win with his undeniable venison-based recipe. Celia Polman came in a close 2nd. Thank you to our participants and organizers for the hard work behind this fantastic annual tradition.
