GREAT NEWS!
All Vyto's Pharmacy locations are now up and running.

Our Hammond and Highland locations all have power, are good to go and accepting calls, credit cards, etc.

Thank you for your patience while we worked through this devastating storm.

We send our thanks to all those working so hard to bring some normalcy to the Region and to those that are still without power.

The Highland location is OPEN for fills/refills of medication!
However, we are operating on a cash only basis.

Phones, credit card machines and such are out of commission.
This is for our Highland store only!

Both our Hammond locations are open and fully operational.

We encourage everyone to be kind to each other, be patient and remember that we're all in this together as the Region continues to clean up from damages related to last week's unprecedented storm.

It's Monday, August 17th, 2026.

Unfortunately, our Highland location remains without power. Phones, computers, credit card machines and more are not in service. (Staff at our other locations can answer general questions, but have no access to your specific information).

Vyto's Pharmacy in Highland remains on an EMERGENCY refill protocol. If you are a Vyto's patient with the Highland store and need medication, please bring in your prescription bottle with the label intact to obtain a 3 day refill. We cannot access your medication record at this time and prescription refills via our automated/phone system are not currently applicable. Our doors are open during our regular business hours and we are accepting cash payments only for purchases. (Delivery service is not available).

Our two Hammond locations are fully powered, open for business and observing their regular business hours with delivery service operational.

We wish everyone the best as the Region continues to recover from Tuesday's devastating storms. Please be kind, show those around you a bit of grace and remember that we are all in this together. Let's make the Region proud!

It's Friday, August 14, 2026.

Vyto's locations in Hammond--6949 Kennedy Avenue and 4923 Hohman Avenue-- are OPEN for business today! Power, phone and internet services have been restored to both stores.

Our Highland store on Kennedy Avenue continues to operate on an EMERGENCY fill basis only. Patients should be sure to have their intact prescription bottle with them to obtain a three day supply of medication. This is for the Highland location only. We're hopeful that power and other important services will be restored in the area soon.

Be safe as the Region continues to recover from recent devastating storm damage.

Spreading kindness not only helps others feel better about themselves -- it can also boost the giver's health and happiness, according to research. It's a win-win for all.

Putting the well-being of others before our own without expecting anything in return -- or what is called being altruistic -- stimulates the reward centers of the brain, studies show. Those feel-good chemicals flood our system, producing a sort of "helper's high." Volunteering, for example, has been shown to minimize stress and improve depression.

The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation says, "You're making the world a better place," But don't forget -- any kindness you give to others is also a gift to yourself.
