This customer component is cut from 12 ga (0.105") 304 stainless steel, and we're verifying a 0.067" feature with a precision gauge pin.

We're pretty proud of this one.

Full Curl Manufacturing was honored to play a small part in supporting the Darby Rodeo Association with these custom memorial benches and the Rocker Steiner belt buckle display, installed just in time for this weekend's Dutton Ranch Darby Xtreme Ba****ck Riding event.

Every piece was designed, fabricated, and finished in-house using a combination of Copper 101, Brass 260, 6061 Aluminum, 304 Stainless Steel, 1018 Mild Steel, and powder coating to achieve the final look. No AI-generated design work here—just skilled craftsmanship, engineering, and a lot of shop time.

A huge thank you to the Darby Rodeo Association for everything they do to keep Montana's rodeo traditions alive. If you're heading to the rodeo this weekend, keep an eye out for these pieces and enjoy the show!

Watch our press brake operator run a 6-bend part in 14 gauge mild steel — with bends up to 70" long — all from a single setup without moving a single tool.
The two short bends on each end (~3") could have been a nightmare. A different setup, a different station, a different operator. But that's not how we do things at Full Curl Manufacturing.
This is what good Design for Manufacturability (DFM) looks like in the real world. When parts are designed with the process in mind, your press brake operator isn't fighting the setup — he's running clean bends and walking away with a finished part that drops right into the weld fixture.

Large powder coating projects are a different animal.

When assemblies start approaching 25 feet long, 6 feet wide, 6 feet tall, and several thousand pounds, coating becomes far more than simply “spraying powder.” Material handling, rack design, grounding, coating consistency, cure management, and finish protection all become critical parts of the process.

This massive staircase assembly came through Full Curl Manufacturing for a complete powder coating finish in a hammered black topcoat over a zinc-rich primer system. The zinc-rich primer provides additional corrosion resistance while the hammered black finish delivers a durable, professional appearance that hides handling marks and surface inconsistencies exceptionally well on large structural assemblies.

Projects of this scale are challenging for many powder coat operations simply because of size and logistics. Moving, hanging, coating, and curing oversized fabricated assemblies without damaging the finish requires the right equipment, workflow, and experience.
