Thank you to Discover Vinton County! The contractor has finished reinforcing our old floors (Just precautionary. This building will out live many generations to come.). Now we clear a path and begin the moving of the soda fountain into the gift area. Then, electric and many other things are needed to be ready to serve. May not happen quickly, but we are making progress!

We are participating in the Vinton County Discovery Trail!

Experience Ohio’s Wonderland in the hills of Vinton County! Watch for wildlife while exploring thousands of acres of mature forest habitat in any of our seven state forests and parks. There’s more to find here than just a nature retreat, however, so let us be your guide to the local scene. Find adventure on the water or on horseback, discover truly unique shops and artisan wares, and experience authentic modern Appalachian culture and cuisine.

Ready to go?

Pick up a passport card at the Discover Vinton County visitor center (104 W Main Street, McArthur) or at any of the destinations listed on the card.

Fill out any six spaces by completing activities and purchases at participating local businesses, receiving a sticker for each. Finish your adventure at The Moonville Market in Zaleski, where you can choose a complimentary souvenir designed by local craftsman Scott Claypool

Our concrete geese will be available September 8th! 🪿❤️

These are 26 inches tall, solid concrete, and $80 each. They come unpainted, so you can leave them as-is or paint and decorate them to make them your own!

Quantities are limited, so please comment below if you’d like one reserved—even if you’ve already spoken to us about getting one. We want to make sure we have everyone on our list!

I’ve been busy giving some beautiful old pieces a brand-new life! 🧵✂️

These upcycled sweatshirts were created using pieces from an old quilt, vintage crochet, and fun fabrics. I love taking something that might otherwise be forgotten and turning it into something unique and wearable. No two pieces are exactly alike!

I also turned a pillow sham into this adorable bow door hanger. 🎀 Who says old linens have to stay in the linen closet?

There’s just something special about creating something new while preserving a little piece of the past. ❤️
