Celebrating with the Reynen’s. It’s been a 4-year journey to get their lake house of their dreams, but we are almost there now!

We met on this vacant lake lot and wondered if it was possible. Well it was..

We can’t wait to see the finished project. The house looks amazing.

Do you know that Engineering and Site Design can be done in such a manner to help enhance your property on Lake George?

This site looks like so many other lake properties, however, do you know that this project was able to capture most of the stormwater on the property and prevent it from entering Lake George?

How did an Engineer do that? We capture the runoff from the roof and direct the water into these very attractively landscaped rain gardens and vegetated swales along the driveway.

The driveway is constructed of permeable pavers that allow the rainwater to infiltrate into a thick bed of crushed stone underneath the concrete pavers. The water than slowly infiltrates into the ground.

The homeowners took it upon themselves to expand the permeable paver driveway to treat even more stormwater! This is an example of going out and doing the right thing for our Lake!

There are also overflow mechanisms in place to allow for larger rain events.

This site was re-developed with house renovations and the construction of a new garage to provide for more storage.
