Sometimes taking a few minutes to make a simple fixture prevents mistakes.
Customers wants about an inch cut off the length. An easy to make block ensures only so much sticks out so I can't get distracted and accidentally cut too much off.
Yup there are 100 other ways to do it but these days I prefer consistently making correct parts and that's all.
