Gooch Sawmill We are a family owned Sawmill that has been providing quality rough cut lumber and custom cutting si We are still using that same sawmill even today.

Gooch Sawmill LLC was started by Norval Gooch when he bought his first Wood-Mizer sawmill on March 30th,1987. Norval cut wood for customers in his barn lot with that sawmill until 1994 when he bought a new fully hydraulic Wood-Mizer sawmill and built a barn to operate the new sawmill out of and also store and dry lumber. In 1999 Scott Smith came to help his grandfather. Eventually Norval and Scott

turned the business into a partnership until Norval passed away. We continue to produce quality rough cut lumber and offer custom cutting to our customers. We work by appointment only, so please call Scott Smith at 405-590-9004 to schedule one today.

I have a bundle of Walnut boards up for sale. I have a customer who can not pay for their order. We came to a possible solution. The boards I have pictured are up for sale for $150. Oklahoma Forestry Services is investigating reports of Emerald Ash Borers in Wagoner County. Our team is looking into the claims and awaiting official confirmation from the laboratory.

Emerald Ash Borers are invasive species that do not belong in our ecosystem and can cause significant damage. They’ve been previously seen in McCurtain, Choctaw, Pushmataha, Love, Carter, Murray and Delaware counties. Emerald Ash Borers can fly up to 10 miles per year and traditionally travel on firewood.

Do your part to protect Oklahoma’s ash trees & burn firewood where you buy it and don’t move it.
