Yep. This is a picture of a pumpkin pie.

Why did you post this, you may ask…

I’m sure that many of you have one of these in your fridge to enjoy later today while America celebrates Thanksgiving. We as a nation have so much to be thankful for as God is restoring our land as people are turning back to him and once again. To live in freedom where we can take a few days off from work and spend time with family and friends is a gift we should not take for granted.

But back to the pie… One of my customers brought this to me as a thank you for all the projects I’ve done for him over the past year or so. He said he tried calling other shops in the area and all were unwilling to help him because the projects were “too small” or “no real money” to be made. Just like every other customer that we have, Cameron Fabrications does our best to support everyone in the local community with our welding, fabrication, and repair services. This customer was so appreciative of us that he decided to bring us a pie on his day off…..to a welder.

This is much more than a pie. It’s a reminder of how thankful I am to be a self employed business owner who is able to do what I love to do and provide for my family as well the people in our small business working in the office or the shop.

Mr Customer, thank you for the reminder of how thankful we should all be. The kind gesture will be remembered for many years to come.

Brent Cameron

This will be an interesting and challenging repair and one for that books! A return customer brought us this cast iron part that was made sometime in the 1880’s. Yep! 140ish year old cast iron that can’t be replaced to hold an antique bell

Let’s see if we can get this fixed for them. 🤞

We got a call on a Friday afternoon from a customer that needed a crew on-site in Wiggins for a construction project first thing Monday morning. After completely re-arranging the schedule for the week, Cameron Fabrications came out to re-fabricate (from scratch) 6 braces that allowed the aluminum decking to be installed.

The original brackets had to be cut out because of a clearance issue with the press box location. New brackets fabricated, punched, welded in, and then zinc painted. It doesn't look like much, but it was a bunch of work to get everything in perfect alignment within an 1/8 of an inch.

This was a fun project to work on. We had a repeat commercial customer bring us a part off of a bus that was no longer made because the bus manufacturer went out of business many years ago. Repair was their only option.

We had to rebuild the top plate that was CNC machined from the factory and match the size, machined holes, orientation, and position perfectly so that everything would line up. The thicker steel and beefier welds will ensure this part lasts for many years to come!

From welding projects in our shop to mobile fabrication and repairs out in the field, we do it all at Cameron Fabrications.

Here's a sneak peak of an in-progress aluminum fabrication project where our customer wanted a custom built aluminum ladder and handrail installed on their boat. Stay tuned for more pictures once we wrap up this project.

Another completed project for a customer who had another shop “repair” the deck. Unfortunately the other shop (who shall rename nameless) didn’t take the time to make sure that all the pulleys were in alignment with each other before fixing the holes in the deck.

Cameron Fabrications had to cut out and completely redo several of them to get them to line up. Portions of the deck were reskinned with thicker metal. Belt and deck installed. Test fit completed. Painted and ready for pick up.

A repeat customer brought us this broken seat frame to repair. It was very poorly welded from the factory so we welded it 100% on both sides and made sure there weren’t any clearance issues. Painted and ready for customer pickup!

Another project getting wrapped up! These parts are for a customer that is soon launching his boat mechanic business. He needed these made from 1/2” thick steel to work on outboard engines. They’re almost ready for pickup.
