From October 1 through November 11, Woodson Lumber locations will serve as collection points for worn, damaged or retired American flags. Collected flags will be respectfully retired through Waco Memorial Park and Funeral Home.

The initiative began with Juan V. at our Mexia location, inspired by his connection to the military community and his belief that every American flag deserves a proper and dignified retirement.

This effort is dedicated in memory of Cpl. Jared C. Verbeek, USMC, and to all those who have served our country.

Bring your retired flags to your local Woodson Lumber location through November 11, and help us honor the flag and the people who have defended it. 🇺🇸

The Woodson Family is excited to share that Ben Reeves from Buffalo, Texas, has officially been sworn into the United States Navy and will ship out for training on December 7!

When asked what inspired him to serve, Ben shared:

“I decided to join the Navy not only to serve the country I love, but also to support my family and prove to myself that I can be the best I can be.”

We’re proud to recognize Ben as he takes this next step and wish him the best as he begins his journey with the U.S. Navy.

It’s about having the right materials for the job, the knowledge to back them up and people in your corner who have been serving Texas communities for generations.
