02/08/2024
Now back at my house, I want to thank each and every one who helped me start and finish the "Sick Week 2024" event. It was a week full of challenges, great emotions and many blessings! Thanks to God and the following people we were able to run a 9.69 at 141.7mph in the 1/4 mile and manage to complete the 1,100 miles of drag and drive during the entire week of January 28 to February 2 competing in 5 tracks/events between Florida and Georgia.
I want to greatly thank:
Lisa Juarbe (My wife) / Cindy Deliz (My sister) for accompanying me and supporting me throughout the event, without them I would not have made it!
Diego Deliz (My son) Who accompanied us and helped us during the event at South Georgia Motorsports Park "SGMP".
Edwin Gonzalez (Nivy) Who helped me install the new torque converter at his mechanic shop in Tampa FL.
Noel Santiago (Former owner of the Chevy Monza "The Postman" Who came down to Bradenton and Tampa to help me with the car in the hotel parking lot and then to change the torque converter at Nivy's shop.
Nicolas Feliciano (Nicolas Performance Shop in Griffin GA) who helped me tune my car at his shop and also at the track.
Joe Rivera (ProTorque Converters) Who sent me one of his 4L80E converters "UPS Overnight" to the hotel in Bradenton so I could fix my car and continue our adventure.
Keith / Sid Neal (Neal Racing Transmissions in Snellville GA) Thanks for all the help and your great products!
Thomas Hendrix (Hendrix Engineering) Ford 8.8 IRS differential conversion kit for my '06 GTO with driveshaftand axles. Thanks for your great products!
Also to each and every one of you who were always attentive to us and everything that was happening with the GTO throughout the event.
