We purchased a 20-foot hose for the vacuum cleaner this week for cleaning the car and steps without having to lug the vacuum all around. It had an adapter for a Hoover but of course, it didn't fit ours. Yesterday, I did some measuring and 3D printed one. It works like a dream.

Photo 1 shows my dilemma.
Photo 2 is the CAD version.
Video 3 is the printer creating it.
Photo 4 is the finished piece.
Photo 5 is the final result.

Problem solved.

Played around with this idea quite a few years ago. We thought it would be a good idea to leave the last in the shoe for the customer to remove. Just crack the cap open like a water bottle and scrunch it up. It wouldn't allow the shoe to change shape in the box over time.

It was possible to blow mold these so it was a feasible idea. Unfortunately, we probably would have filled up the landfills. Always a downside to everything.

I built a replacement gutter bracket in CAD and 3D printed a few up. The brackets I purchased always snapped every winter from the snow sliding off the roof. I decided to make a stronger version. I have tested this with 60 pounds of force and passed.
