Advance Industrial Machine, a machining job shop in Greenville (under 100 employees), is seeking a full-time Mazak CNC Machinist. The ideal candidate will have experience with programming and running the parts.
Description :
The CNC programmer & Operator is responsible for the fabrication and machining of various customer products, programming, set-up, operation and support of existing Mazak CNC equipment..
Essential job duties :
*Through minimal direction from supervisor, conduct set-up and operations.
*Read and interpret blueprints, understand basics of design.
*Create, edit and/or retrieve CNC programs from system files and execute.
*Use manufacturing paperwork (routers, blueprints, sketches, etc.)
*Through minimal direction from supervisor, conduct set-up and quality operations in support of machining for self and others.

Qualifications:
*Ability to read, evaluate stock and tooling requirements from engineering drawings.
*Excellent decision making and problem solving skills.
*Firm understanding of CNC Mazak programs to include format and editing.
*Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
*Must be able to proficiently demonstrate the ability to measure and work to close tolerances.
*Able to discuss technical problems encountered with supervisor and management.
*Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills.'
