Back-to-school season is a good reminder that school safety goes beyond the classroom. 🏫

The Blacksmith Shop recently helped upgrade this railing system at a local elementary school to bring it up to code. The existing railing needed to be taller, and we added steel mesh panels to cover the pickets and help prevent little climbers from using the railing as a ladder.

Older schools and facilities sometimes need modifications to meet today’s safety requirements—and that doesn’t always mean starting from scratch. Our team can fabricate and install solutions that improve safety while working with the existing structure.
