Here's a question worth asking before your next capital project: who's actually accountable when something goes wrong?

In a traditional setup, engineering, procurement, and construction are managed by separate teams. Each one has its own priorities. And when a problem shows up on-site — a design gap, a late equipment delivery, a scope conflict — the first instinct is usually to figure out whose fault it is, not how to fix it fast.

EPC, and the work we do here at Isomer, changes that equation.

When one team owns the full scope from front-end engineering through startup, the incentive structure shifts. Engineering thinks about how the project will actually get built. Procurement isn't reactive — it's planned. And when issues come up during construction, the team solving them is the same one that designed it.

We've guided projects through every phase across industries from specialty chemicals to renewables. Owning all three phases isn't a differentiator for us — it's just the right way to give clients a real shot at hitting their numbers.

Welcoming three talented interns to the Isomer team this summer!

Rylee Miller joins us from NC State University, where she's pursuing a major in Chemical Engineering. She's passionate about sustainability and emerging technology — and balances it all as a member of the NC State Cheerleading team.

Joe Kunego is a fourth-year student at NC State in the Chemical Engineering and Paper Science & Engineering programs, bringing hands-on experience from both manufacturing and industry research. He's been a leader in the NCSU TAPPI chapter and recently moderated a panel at the 2025 TAPPI-PIMA Student Summit.

Cooper Cruce is a Civil Engineering undergraduate at Clemson University with a focus on structural design. An Eagle Scout and active Scouting leader, Cooper brings the kind of discipline and follow-through that shows up in the work.

We're glad to have all three on board. Welcome, Rylee, Joe, and Cooper! 🎉

We're excited to welcome Jacob Criswell to the Isomer team!

Jacob graduated from Clemson University and actually joined us with a head start — he interned here last summer, working on detailed design projects, joining site visits, and getting real face time with clients. That experience stuck, and we're glad it brought him back.

He's currently working toward his PE license and already stands out for his curiosity, communication, and eagerness to dig into every part of the industry.

Outside of work, Jacob splits his free time between good books, pickleball, and scuba diving. He's got a taste for spontaneity — which honestly fits right in.

Welcome aboard, Jacob — we're glad you chose to come back! 🎉

Construction is officially underway in downtown Greenville on a new mixed-use development at the corner of McBee and Mordecai.

A former parking lot is being transformed into a four-story, 15,000 SF office building. The project team includes Project Plus as the architect, alongside developer Broadstreet Partners and general contractor Harper General Contractors, with civil engineering services provided by our team.

The site is exceptionally well positioned, just steps from McBee Station, Yee-Haw Brewing Company, and the Church Street Bridge offering immediate access to some of downtown Greenville’s most active destinations. The development will reduce existing curb cuts, introduce on-site parking, and include a rooftop amenity level with views of the downtown skyline.

More to come as the project moves forward!

Help us welcome Vince Guidi-Louviere to the team! 🎉

Vince brings 15+ years of capital project leadership in the paper and packaging industry — from $12.5M machine rebuilds to $900M facility conversions to portfolios exceeding $1B. He's a USC-trained Mechanical Engineer, certified PMP, and someone who's spent his career turning strategy into real, executed work.

He joins us most recently from Domtar, where he led the development of major capital portfolios from the ground up. His approach — front-end loading, strong governance, teams that actually collaborate — is exactly what complex programs need.

Outside of work, Vince stays busy with his wife Erin, their three boys, and the family's most senior member: Finnegan, an 11-year-old Golden Retriever of considerable wisdom. When he's not managing that crew, he's chasing good food, good trails, and adventures the whole family can get into.

Welcome to the team, Vince — we're glad you're here!

Meet James Martzin, one of our Project Engineers here at Isomer Project Group.

James came to Isomer to work alongside someone he considered the best project manager he'd ever seen — and he's been raising the bar ever since. One of his contributions? Building internal systems that cut out the mind-numbing parts of engineering work. You know, like manually inventorying every single valve on a multi-million dollar project. Not fun. James fixed it.

Outside of work, he's taken up rucking at Paris Mountain — strapping on a heavy pack and climbing. And when he needs to refuel, you'll find him at Sasha's Colombian spot on Main Street for the fried plantains and a rice bowl.

Four years at Isomer. Good ones.

Excited to welcome Adam Burger to the Isomer team as our new Technology Operations Manager.

Adam brings a genuinely diverse background — full stack development, IT support, systems troubleshooting — all grounded in practical, real-world problem solving. He's the kind of person who figures things out, not just talks about them.

Outside of work, he's a guitarist, a pickleball player, and a proud dad. He and his wife Lisa are happy to call Greenville home.

Welcome to the team, Adam!

Starting your career is about finding the right place to grow.

For Kelvin Borges, that meant finding a role where learning didn’t stop after graduation.

Since joining the team, Kelvin has taken on new challenges, learned skills outside of his degree, and even seen his work come to life on-site — a moment that never really gets old.

Outside of work, he stays busy with sports, community involvement, and some pretty incredible adventures (including climbing Kilimanjaro and trekking to Everest Base Camp).

We’re proud to have people like this on the team.

🎥 Take a minute to hear Kelvin's story.
