🐄🥛 IN CASE YOU MISSED IT! 🥛🐄

About a month ago, the GDS team completed a milk cooling tank upgrade at the PA Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, PA!

The PA Farm Show Complex is home to many agricultural events throughout the year, including but not limited to the All-American Dairy Show and the annual PA Farm Show. With a busy schedule of events ahead, this project came with a deadline — and GDS delivered! 👏

The project centered around upgrading the facility’s milk cooling capacity with a larger milk tank and the equipment and system improvements needed to support it.

The project included:

🥛 A larger milk cooling tank
❄️ Two compressors
🔧 New and updated piping
⚡ Wiring and electrical work
🧊 Refrigeration work
🔩 Additional modifications needed to bring the system together

Nathan took the lead on the project, coordinating with the Farm Show throughout the process. Todd, Dennis, Lamar, and Dave were also on hand, working together to complete the installation and have everything ready on schedule.

There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes when upgrading a milk cooling system. From sizing and installing equipment to piping, refrigeration, electrical work, and making sure all the components work together, our team handled the project from start to finish.

We’re proud of the GDS crew for getting the job done and helping make sure the PA Farm Show Complex was ready for another busy season of dairy events! 🐄🥛

A few still here… but not for long! 👋🚐💨

Today’s Monday morning lineup at Graham Dairy Supply. Many of our service trucks are already out and headed to farms this morning, while these few are still at the shop as our crew wraps up calls, grabs parts and supplies, and gets everything loaded for the day ahead.

There’s a lot that happens between a customer’s phone call and one of our trucks pulling into the farm — troubleshooting, coordinating schedules, tracking down parts, loading equipment, and making sure our technicians have what they need to get the job done.

It takes the whole team to keep everything moving.

The week is officially underway — let’s see where the road takes us! 🔧🐄🚜

It’s Westmoreland Fair week! 🐄🥛🎡

The dairy barn milking parlor is set up and ready for another busy week at the Westmoreland Fair! Graham Dairy Supply is proud to once again provide and set up the milking equipment used throughout the week for the dairy cattle staying on the fairgrounds.

If you’re visiting the fair, make sure to take a walk through the dairy barn and check it out! One of the coolest parts of the setup is the glass DeLaval receiver jars, which give fairgoers the opportunity to actually watch the milk flow into the jars as the cows are being milked. 🥛🐄

The cows are milked each morning and evening throughout the fair, with exact times varying depending on the day and show schedule. If you happen to catch a milking while you’re there, it’s a great opportunity for kids and adults alike to get an up-close look at a small part of the dairy industry and see where the process begins.

The Westmoreland Fair is a great opportunity to showcase agriculture right here in our own community. We’re proud to see so many familiar faces in the dairy barns each year — including customers, friends, local dairy producers, and the next generation of young people involved in agriculture. 💙
