Keagan Dales from The Kentucky Welding Institute stopped by today to chat with seniors about KWI and aspects of life as a welder. KWI is much more than just a trade school, it’s a place where young welders learn not only how to weld but also apply for jobs, networking, financial literacy, and industry expectations. Always a blast having Keagan talk and weld with students.

Kicking off the year in the welding shop with some Plasma Arc Gouging on a skidster bucket to move this quick attachment lower. Senior Harlee Thompson is shown using this process that is new to him to more efficiently remove the old welds!
