Our hearts are heavy for our neighbors in Western NC. Due to an overwhelming number of vendors, customers, and friends who have reached out asking how they can help, we decided to share this flyer.
So far, we've been able to donate some urgently needed items like portable handwash stations, coolers, water, and electrolyte packets. Our driver Anthony Thomas delivered 38 bales of hay to Caldwell County, where the National Guard made several helicopter airdrops to the agriculture communities affected by the hurricane.
We are continuing our efforts to secure more needed items and will transport them to our Asheville store. From there, with the help of our employees, we will make local drop-offs and deliveries to the affected communities.
Monetary donations will contribute towards tools, pallets of water, and other needed items. We will also coordinate with trusted local organizations in Western NC and distribute any remaining monetary donations.
