To all Novel and Rose employees:
As you are all well aware, the cases of COVID-19 are on the rise. And they are rising fast! I ask that ALL employees curb their outside social activities as much as possible. PLEASE remember to always wear your mask, keep social distance and minimize social contacts. It is inevitable that some of us are going to be exposed to someone with COVID. But if we can limit social contacts we can try to limit the risk of exposure. At this point, a known exposure means that you are out of work for 14 days. And if you live with someone who has contracted COVID, your quarantine period extends to 14 days AFTER your housemate has been symptom free for 24 hours. Therefore your quarantine period could very well be over 3 weeks.
While here are work, please limit face to face interactions and movement about the building. Communicate through alternative methods as much as possible, ie: email, text and phone. Always wear your mask when not at your workstation, use hand sanitizer and hand wash often. If you need masks or hand sanitizer, just let me know. We have plenty.
You and every employee are a critical part of our company. We need you and we need you healthy. PLEASE consider the impact of your actions on your co-workers and the company. If we experience an outbreak within the company, we will be shut down. I need you all healthy. Please remember as we are now in the holiday season and winter months, and social distancing becomes harder, that you are part of Novel's/Rose's larger family and we are all depending on each of you to do your part to help keep us all healthy and working!
Remember to monitor yourselves for symptoms of fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, loss of taste/smell, fatigue, sore throat, headache, body/muscle aches, congestion/runny nose, nausea/vomiting, or diarrhea.
If you experience any of these symptoms, DO NOT COME TO WORK! Stay home and call me. Also continue to monitor our Novel/Rose Facebook sites for information such as weather impacts, and COVID related messages.
Thank you for all your efforts and support...It is a difficult time but together we can do this!
Hollie T Noveletsky,
CEO
