Congrats to our very own, Mike Ehrsam on receiving the “FRIEND OF THE CATTLEMEN” award for supporting our local Adair County Cattlemen!!!! 🙌🏼
Our friends, the Adair County Cattlemen really know how to cap off a bleak, freezing, cold winter day on a warm note. They did it again this past weekend. Hosting a successful banquet in the midst of a cold streak is just one of their specialties.
Kudos to our event photographer, Beth Baudler Christenson, for getting a photo of the food before digging into the special meal. Featuring perfectly-cooked prime rib and great side dishes, the dinner was prepared by the Chuckwagon Restaurant in Adair. The group went the extra mile when it came time to top off the delicious meal with dessert. They engaged three of our favorite area bakers: Jeanette Jorgensen of Farmhouse Desserts, Terri Raasch, and Dianna Goetz.
A number of awards were presented during the program:
Friend of the Cattlemen-Mikkey’s LLC
Heifer Project Recipient- Clay Raasch
Cattlemen's Scholarship - Matthew Rudolf
Cattlemen’s Scholarship- Chloe Rardin
Cattlemen’s Scholarship - Joe Crawford (Not pictured)
congratulations to each of the recipients!

Live music by Liv McNair capped off an enjoyable evening for all those gathered on a winter’s night to celebrate Adair County’s cattle producers.
A big thank you to President Tyson Edwards and the entire board of directors for their outstanding leadership in promoting the beef industry.
