Mini Excavator boom repair. Lots of grinding for weld prep. Backer plate and 100% pe*******on welds. Still have to do extra plates to help with strengthening. The factory design broke, let's hope this doesnt.

Doing some "government" work today. I have a Rock Crawler that has been sitting unfinished for way too long. I need to move it to the new shop so I can have access to bring the last of my equipment to the new place. This project is going to be a chassis jig. It is 2 pieces of W12x26 I-beam separated with a couple of crossbar for rigidity. The wheels in the first picture are rated for 1650 pounds each and have ratcheting levelers built in. More pictures to come soon.
