BURT crane & rigging traces their history back five generations to 1870 in the slate quarries on the Vermont - New York area. Through the work of our great grandfather and father, the family reputation grew steadily through the Northeast. Known for our efficient project completion, stellar safety records, and superb staff members, BURT crane & rigging officially incorporated in 1974 and is now a globally recognized force in the industry. Still family operated today, Bridget Hubal and Thomas Scheib purchased the company from their father in 2011. They have continued to strive for the same professionalism and quality of service that generations before had developed. With each project, staff are committed to quality assurance; from the start to planning projects and utilizing in-house proprietary software to finishing projects on time and delivering formal questionnaires. In 2014, BURT crane & rigging received certification as a New York State Woman Owned Business Enterprise. BURT crane & rigging remains a tight-knit team leading upwards of 150 employees annually. We house a large fleet of advanced equipment and offer the best of project management, personnel, and industry technology. Our mission is to continually innovate our services to meet the always changing demands of the industry. We assure you that one call to us will solve all of your needs safely and professionally.

Yesterday the crew ran A few well deserved 150mph hot laps around pocono speedway. Our 2026 employee appreciation event did not disappoint. A little friendly competition to show our thanks for the dedication this team shows every day.
