This one came in after an off-airport landing in a field.

The 33-series fleet has always lived in a parts-supported world, and demand on this airframe was immediate. The Garmin G3X and GFC-500 sold as soon as the airplane hit the shop floor.

The Twin Comanche fleet has been working from a finite supply of parts since Piper stopped building them in 1972. An airframe coming apart with low-time engines, recently overhauled accessories, and clean control surfaces does not stay on the shelf long.
