There's something satisfying about watching a flat sheet become a finished part.
This job started as a plain piece of 1/2" aluminum. After waterjet cutting the profile and holes, we finished it up by tapping the threads and getting it ready for assembly.
Simple process. Clean results.
What material should we show next—stainless, steel, brass, or titanium?

This 3D print failed miserably… so naturally we thought:
“What happens if we put it on the waterjet?” 🤔💦
Turns out, curiosity in a fabrication shop is a dangerous thing 😂
Would we recommend it?
Probably not.
Would we do it again?
