Shop Supervisor Position:
CSI looking for a motivated, self-driven supervisor to lead a talented team in the fabrication and assembly of new fire apparatus.
Minimum Qualifications:
~Experience in employee supervision and leadership. ~Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
~Ability to coordinate, plan and implement production schedules. ~Blueprint reading skills and ability to work with documents (specifications).
~Experience in shipping, receiving and inventory management. ~Experience in shop safety.
~Comprehension of welding and fabrication practices and procedures.
~Computer experience, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Priority given to these additional experiences or certifications: ~Experience in truck mechanical work.
~Understanding fire apparatus, water pumps, hydraulics, and both 12- and 120-volt electrical systems.
~ASE certification (heavy truck), EVT certification (Emergency Vehicle Technician),
~Class A or B CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
