The inside of this Downeaster 38 is quite the overwhelming mess! I done even know where to begin. The good news is it’s not a bunch of trash, it’s mostly tools and parts for boats mixed in with some trash, and it doesn’t stink, so that’s a bonus! Can’t wait to see what treasures we unearth!

Another FAKE PAGE alert. REPORT & SHARE and comment with a screenshot that you reported this guy and I'll give a random person $100 gift certificate to our sailboat parts website,
sailboatparts.com I'll pick a winner in the next 2 weeks. That's my personal photo as the profile and my videos, but he's trying to scam people out of money. So, if you see a FB page related to Anchors & Oars without our logo as the profile photo, and saying he's in Miami, it's NOT US! Thank you! Feel free to comment on his posts with a link to our actual fb page, Anchors & Oars Sailboat Parts

A little fishing while you work never hurt nobody!

This Downeaster 38 has come to the end of its functional life as a sailboat, but we will be reusing, reselling, and recycling everything we possibly can from this once great vessel. If you see something you need for your boat or need something you don’t see, shoot us a message chances are we have it! We ship and also have a physical location in Grasonville, Md just across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge from Annapolis!

I got this bronze compass off of a 1934 wooden sailboat, put it in the store and hadn’t really thought about it much since then, until a customer came in the store this week and told me it came off of his boat in the 80s and was part of a rebuild of Eskasoni that John Swain helped with. Unfortunately I didn’t think to ask what his boat was. He told me how to take it apart and we were all SHOCKED how cool the compass inside was!

Picked up this Ranger 33 today. If you need something off of one of these let us know, we still have an amazing set of cushions from the last one we did!

We have tons of great sails at amazing prices. Check out our inventory. We also have a good amount of sails that may not be perfect for sailing but provide shade over large areas and of course we have lots of blocks and lines to make it work!

To all the haters out there, when I get a boat it is already destined to go to the dump. When we accept a boat instead of taking it straight to the landfill we take all of the parts off of them and help rehome them to other boats or recycle any metals that we can’t use otherwise.
