My client wanted a putter that would remind him of his mother. She loved hummingbirds and California poppies. It took a few tries to figure out an art layout that would work, but I’d say the final result was perfect. Notice how the original artwork plan was flat and boring, but I was able to add detail during the painting process? Those color areas are just where I engrave the wood, but then I can add depth and color within each zone.

When my client/best friend from college wanted something special for his father-in-law, you know I had to go all out. He loves biking and fishing, so I figured out how to have a bike sprocket and chain key on the top, with his on the side, and him stealing a salmon from a grizzly bear on the bottom.
I’m going through old projects and realizing how many never made it to the main feed. So much gold in the drafts!

When a client loves turtles and their dog, I figure out a way to engrave a turtle alignment line and their dog chilling on a pool floatie on the bottom. Because there’s custom, and then there’s a Bradley.

When it’s time to get a long-time employee or a retiring partner that perfect gift, I hope you’ll think of Bradley Putters. For this one, my client wanted something special for a person who worked for the company for 18 years. So I started with an insanely special piece of wood with a little live edge, and then engraved their logos on the top and bottom. The person had a love and tie to U of O, so I acquired a piece of wood that has been on campus and was painted both green and yellow in its history. I laser cut it into shape and embedded it on the face.

Every time he pulls out this putter, he’s going to tell stories of the growth, challenges, friendships, and successes throughout the years.

I love a good retirement putter. Shipped this one off a few weeks ago!

I’ve been in my new CEO role for 1 year now and am absolutely loving it. I’ve got an amazing staff, fun members, and am more involved in my community than ever.

With that being said, I do still love the art of making putters. So I’ll be taking a few Christmas orders this year. I’m traveling a bunch in November, so you’ll need to reach out in the next week to get a putter guaranteed by Christmas. Just shoot me a DM if you’re interested!

Big update: I’m now the long term CEO of the Grants Pass Family YMCA! This position directly aligns with my passion for helping my community. The past four months as interim CEO have been some of the most rewarding of my life, and I couldn’t say no when the offer was presented.

Now what does that mean for putters? I’m going to do my best to keep making as many as possible, but that number will likely be 1-2 a month. When I’ve got capacity to make one, I’ll be posting an instagram story question where you can pitch your theme/reason for getting one and the price you’d pay. I’ll then select the best fit for my schedule and set up a phone call with that person.

It’s definitely gonna be a lot harder to get your hands on a putter moving forward, but I’m not just going to take the highest bid every time! Stories matter, and I will be factoring that in greatly.

Thanks for all your support these last 8 years. It’s been a pleasure getting to know so many of you, and I cherish our friendships.

I love hiding Easter eggs in a design. For this one, I matched the face and hair style of the recipient on his family crest. I included his kids’ names around the side, changed one hand to a “hook ‘em horns” style, and then put the longhorn logo as the bottom design. And he’s dropping multiple 30 ft bombs a round with it! I’m taking orders now for spring delivery. Start your golf season off right with a custom putter, and have something to follow along with while you wait for snow to melt!
