It's been a while since we did a Throwback Thursday post.
In 2015, our building addition was complete. Once empty, the addition houses manufacturing hubs: Swiss Machining, Custom Injection Molding, and Manual Machining.

Swiss turning is specifically designed for manufacturing small, high-precision, and slender components that require tight tolerances and complex geometries. The material is supported by a guide bushing near the cutting tool. Long parts with small diameters are ideal candidates for Swiss turning production.

We're getting ready to show our stuff at in Phoenix during the first week of March. John Ray will be speaking with customers about our micro-milling capabilities supported by our other manufacturing specialties.

TestConX is an annual conference for the semiconductor industry featuring technical speakers and a service provider expo. We attend every year in support of US manufacturing, bringing jobs and expertise to Grandview, Missouri.

Today's Chili Cookoff raised $151 for the Grandview Assistance Grandview Assistance Program!

Our team came through with 7 pots of chili plus side dishes. Burger & Brown Engineering provided the toppings and the bowls.

Team members purchased bowls for a small donation, and prizes were provided at no charge from outside sources.

Our independent judges were serious in their deliberations. The cookoff winners came away with bragging rights and fabulous prizes.

Best of all, we had a nice, warm mid-winter work event that brought us together out of our workspaces to enjoy some good fun and good food.

We're dusting off our slow cookers for our annual chili cookoff.

February 5th marks the date when our team members will show off their culinary skills and compete for fabulous prizes.

We also use the fellowship opportunity to raise money for our favorite local Grandview Assistance Program helping community members in need.

It happens tomorrow, team. Tomorrow will be one of the tastiest days of the year. Remember to bring your chili or side!

We had a blast during our January holiday party this past Saturday! Pickleball, good food, good company, and door prizes were on the meeting agenda.

It was fun to get together outside of our workspace and enjoy a relaxing evening.
