Fleis & VandenBrink

Fleis & VandenBrink F&V is a full service engineering & architecture firm assisting clients in Michigan and Indiana.

Fleis & VandenBrink (F&V) is an employee-owned, multi-disciplined civil engineering firm with 11 offices serving Michigan and Indiana. Our team encompasses a broad range of services designed to provide our clients with a one-stop-shop consultant. Providing a wide range of services allows us to design custom-fit solutions and award-winning projects - on time and on budget. Our growth has been an ou

tcome of hiring the best people, doing great work, and focusing on client relationships. We believe great relationships are built over time through communication and an understanding of our client’s needs. We work collaboratively to gain that understanding by uncovering potential issues and concerns prior to beginning work. Knowledge of those critical success factors gives us agreed upon expectations and allows us to work together towards successful projects. We also understand the critical component funding has in turning a project vision into reality. Our team of funding experts actively pursues grants and low interest loan opportunities on behalf of our clients. We work diligently with state and federal organizations to find and obtain the best option for each project. Since our inception, we have obtained more than $1 billion in grants and low interest loans for our clients.

The time to start planning for your park and recreation spaces is now! The first step towards creating these important spaces is developing a 5-Year Recreation Plan. The plan evaluates existing recreation opportunities, summarizes public input, and outlines a 5-Year plan to implement proposed park improvements and new initiatives.

F&V can help your community create 5-Year Recreation plans, develop project concepts, or apply for grant funding.

Let’s taco ’bout our culture. 🌮 We’re a festive group that enjoys gathering over good food, connecting with coworkers outside our usual teams, and sharing in the moment. From sharing ideas to sharing chips and salsa, events like our Cinco de Mayo taco bar remind us that the best workplace culture is built one taco at a time.

To the moms working in the office or out in the field all day before going home to continue the job of being a mother, and to the stay-at-home moms caring for their children while supporting their partners from home — we appreciate all that you do.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Water is essential to everything we do, and the more we understand it, the better we can protect it. The Village of Marion is a great example of that commitment.

Last year, F&V helped the Village upgrade its water system by replacing an undersized, aging watermain and constructing a new 150,000-gallon elevated storage tank. These improvements boost water storage, increase pressure, and enhance overall water quality, benefiting residents for years to come.
