Our thought was if we stopped dictating the safety products people used, and started working one-on-one with people to develop the safety product they actually need…well, we’d have something pretty unique for this industry. Not to mention, we’d be able to change the conversation from price and product to “is this the right PPE to effectively reduce injuries and protect our people?” It was possible, but it wasn’t simple. We set off to work with people, side-by-side, day after day to experience the kind of dangers and hazards they encountered. From there we grew and expanded our hand safety line one industry at a time – with our team of safety advisors hitting worksites and manufacturing floors, working hand-in-hand with their workers, listening to their input, and giving them the protection they deserve. And that’s what’s most important to us. Because, in the end, we aren’t just gloves and PPE. We’re the confidence, safety, and livelihood of those we protect. HexArmor. We’re Safety, Redefined.

Congratulations to Kendall on 10 incredible years at HexArmor! ✨

The biggest thing she has learned from her time at HexArmor is the importance of adaptability and openness to change. "I’ve also learned how valuable relationships are - the people you work with really make a difference, and I’ve been lucky to work alongside so many supportive and talented people throughout my time here."

Kendall's favorite part of working at HexArmor is the people and the culture. "It’s always felt like a place where people genuinely care about each other and want to see each other succeed. I’ve also loved having opportunities to grow professionally and take on new challenges over the years."

Outside of work, Kendall enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends, being involved in her church, traveling, golfing, and playing volleyball!

What happens when you stop buying cheap gloves and start buying the right ones?

In manufacturing, gloves are one of the most purchased items in a PPE program.

At one central Pennsylvania facility, 300 employees were going through two to three pairs of gloves per week. Standard A2 cut gloves were checked off the compliance list, but were failing in real-world conditions. Recordable hand injuries were averaging 40 per year, and glove spend had climbed past $155,000 annually.

The team ran a three-month evaluation across more than 300 gloves from several leading manufacturers, removing pricing from the process entirely to let performance speak for itself.

This resulted in over 90% of workers choosing HexArmor® — with the Helix® 3013, 3014, and 3051 rising to the top. One employee called the Helix® 3051 "the most comfortable glove they had worn in their entire life."

After switching, recordable injuries dropped from 40 per year to just 3. Glove usage fell from 31,200 pairs to 7,800. And total program savings exceeded $92,000.

What happens when you replace a patchwork of helmets with one that workers actually want to wear?

In cold storage, employees face head hazards all day: low-clearance racking, overhead hazards, and active forklift traffic in tight, fast-paced aisles.

For one national cold storage provider, inconsistency was the real problem. Multiple helmet SKUs across facilities mean inconsistent protection, ordering, and compliance.

After partnering with HexArmor® and switching to the Ceros® XP450A, the difference was immediate.
